In far away Garden of Eden, when Adam and Eve ate the forbidden fruit, a battle line was clearly drawn. In God’s judgment was a prophecy of enmity that is being fulfilled even today. (Genesis 3:15). In this very first prophecy, the woman is specifically named in the battle.  

In the garden, the woman was docile and gullible but when the devil would seek to attack her seed, she would become a fierce fighter. Concern for her seed is the reason that she is able to face the serpent.

Women are the ones to enforce Satan’s defeat as far as their children are concerned. Because the woman would rise up and fight, her seed shall crush the head of the serpent.
